I said I would be buying beer on my way home from SecretCon 2002, and I asked for recommendations. sabbat suggested I seek out a beer forom Quebec called "La Fin Du Monde." Alas, in Western Ontario I found no sign of it, or any other beers from Unibroue.

Today I was shopping an upscale wine and beer store, and there it was, along with the rest of the more exotic beer selections. Now it is in my fridge, and soon I shall drink it.

Also, Sleeman has upped its market exposure stateside. At first, only their lager was available, and now a Honey Brown which I regarded dubiously for a while, then purchased. I was sure to tell the manager that he really ought to be stocking the Cream Ale, but he wasn't sure if it was being exported at this point...
