I want to gather a gaggle of us to go see "A Prairie Home Companion" in Saint Paul. I am a cheap bastard who can't quite pay full price (if there are even any tickets left) so this would be using the ever-so-inexpensive $10 rush ticket option.
I did this once last fall. Rush tickets go on sale at 4:15pm for $10. Needless to say, since this is one of the most popular shows in town, one must arrive early. Truthfully, I got there around 11:30am and barely made it in.
So here's what I say: we meet for breakfast early at one of the various eateries in Saint Paul (Perhaps the Copper Dome or something). Then when we are properly fed we go down to the Fitz around 9AM. Then it is a matter of waiting a scant seven hours or so and a fun show ensues.
Anyone else up for it?
