Great Minnesota Get Together

I probably have addressed this in years past, but I'm gonna post about it again anyway. I grew up about 3 blocks from the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. In my youth, I used to go to the Fair.

A lot.

When I was old enough (high school) I worked there four years in a row. When I worked there, I'd usually work a full 8 to 10 hour shift, get a wristband for re-entry, go home for a nap, and then go back for fun. Needless to say I never brought lunch from home. They gave us one day off of the 12 days of the Fair. That day I usually spent resting- no, are you kidding, I went to the Fair!

I'm probably going to the Fair tomorrow, as I always have Fridays off at my current workplace. But despite the fact that I only got 5.5 hours of sleep so far, I'm having a tough time resisting its siren call today. i don't have to be to work until 4:30, an hour drive to the Fair, a half hour getting to work from the Fair...
