AM Radio

There's just something comforting about AM radio early on a Saturday morning. I think it may be because of how many early Saturday morning starts our family vacations and weekends at the lake had. My dad would hook up a small radio and a table lamp to an automatic timer, and it would be on as we loaded the van full of all our gear.

Today I'm off to shop Grand Avenue this morning, and this afternoon I plan to look at pretty flowers under a giant glass dome. Ah, the wonders of 1915 technology... A walk among flowers while it pours down rain, yet I'm dry. I pity the hardcore fishermen on this the fishing opener. Showers, and a temperatures steady to falling from this, our high temperature of 52F...
