Potluck day, and we've got a mess of holiday cookies, two soups/stews, and a whole bunch of little weenies drowned in BBQ.
I brought the spicy chickpea dish, sans wine accompaniment.
We keep getting these "nuisance" snowfalls, mostly less than an inch, no more than three. Its really starting to piss me off. All the major snow-makers keep nicking us, and dumping elsewhere. I want a good old-fashioned dumping, like I remember from my youth... Anyone else have fond memories of the Blizzard of '82?
It was on a Saturday, I remember this because "A Prairie Home Companion" was on. It was a live broadcast, and some audience members managed to get to the theatre, and they put on the show anyway. My father recorded it on tape.
Oh, big snowfalls, where have you gone???
